If all international climate pledges are successful, it might be possible to limit the rise in world temperatures to 2.0°C by the end of this century.

From 1990 - 2019, there was a 51.5% reduction in emissions.

Emissions in the Electricity and Industrial sectors have fallen significantly, with the Buildings, Transport and Agriculture sectors lagging.

Emissions are expected to more than half between 2020 and 2032, dropping from 41.6 MtCO2e to 18.3MtCO2e.

There is currently insufficient information to assess progress against the majority of policy outcome indicators with "too early to say" at 31, "on track" at 10, and "off track" at 2.
